If you have received a diagnosis of esophageal cancer from your doctor, know that there is a community of people standing by ready to support you through this journey. Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association is dedicated to offering help and advice to patients, caregivers, survivors, family members; in short, to anyone affected by the disease. Association of Cancer Online Resources provides an online email support group for esophageal cancer patients and families that has been invaluable to those negotiating the difficult path of esophageal cancer treatment. The goal of the support group is to make sure all patients and families know that they are not alone in their struggle. The members of this discussion group provide support, advice and quick answers to every question - from the practical to the emotional - faced by those coping with this difficult disease. Become a member of the EC-Group. Cathy's EC Cafe is an online forum dedicated to esophageal cancer. The Cafe is hosted by the host of the ACOR online discussion group and provides a place for permanent sources of information, pictures and stories.
